About Coach Ken

Ken Sergi is the Principal of Sergi Consulting and Coaching and a dynamic trainer, Organization Development ("OD") expert, and Business coach.  

He is also the VP of Professional Development for the San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance (SDPCA)

He has more than 25 years of experience helping diverse leaders and individuals worldwide in multiple industries and government achieve new levels of influence, performance, teaming, and strategic success. His leadership training, performance management and coaching programs are used by corporate, government and military organizations.  He is a passionate OD Consultant who focuses on sustainable transformation that unlocks individual potential and organization effectiveness which has grown small, medium and large companies, promoted leaders, won awards, and has been profiled in industry publication.  

Brief Accomplishments:
• Lead the design, train-the-trainer (T3), and conducted training of a new three-day leadership program used by the U.S. Navy's MSC for several hundred leaders, which was ultimately expanded to include line employees. 
• Implemented OD processes for a startup I.T. business starting with business strategy and core competencies, to hiring processes, training, performance management tools and coaching that grew the company from one individual to eight employees within one year (see "Testimonials").
• Senior trainer on the National Security Personnel System (NSPS trainers) for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) to shift the civilian workforce into a pay-for-performance system from GS, the first major organizational change since the introduction of GS in 1949, then subsequently STRL (2006 - 2011).
• Training Manager for the U.S. Census he helped to design the work flow, performance management and training programs for the largest mobilization of human resources in U.S. history within a matter of months.
• Sr. Team Leader for NDC in Washington, DC he helped lead the design and implementation teams that installed the first automated medical systems as U.S. military hospitals worldwide (AQCESS & CHCS).
• Keynote speaker at Case Corporation global I.T. conference on the retooling of technology jobs and professional development strategies worldwide.
